Furkin Social Media Community Guidelines

Furkin Social Media accounts are intended to be a place for passionate pet parents or pet lovers to connect and to share resources, stories, and experiences around how to best keep pets happy and healthy. In order to create a positive, engaging, and safe environment for everyone, Furkin has implemented Social Media Community guidelines.

 

We ask that users treat each other with courtesy and respect at all times and follow these Community Guidelines when interacting with our social media accounts and our community.

A Respectful and Paw-some Community

As a community of pet lovers, we encourage you to comment and interact with our social media accounts and to have some Furkin fun while you’re at it.

We welcome questions and comments, including healthy debate, constructive feedback, and suggestions, but please remember to stay on topic and respectful with what you post.

Comment Moderation Policy

We will do our best to moderate and respond quickly to your comments and feedback. Please remember, though, that social posts contain the opinions and views of other users and do not necessarily reflect the views of Furkin nor are they endorsed by Furkin. Although we are moderating our channels to help ensure that users’ posts comply with these Guidelines, we cannot be responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any comments or materials posted by users.

The Dos and Do Nots

Absolutely Do the Following:
 
  • Get punny with us and have a ball
  • Share your questions or ask for help
  • Tell us what kind of content or information you’d like us to share
  • Stay on topic, use common courtesy, and be respectful of others
  • Submit your own original content, and avoid content that you know to be fraudulent, misrepresentative, or misleading
  • Keep personal information safe! Never post personal, identifying or confidential information
  • Have fun and connect! We’re happy you’re here and want you and other community members to get the most out of the Furkin social media communities.
 
Absolutely Do Not Do the Following:

We will not tolerate and reserve the right to remove any posts or comments that:

  • are hateful, racist, xenophobic, homophobic, sexist, disturbing, violent, or inappropriate;
  • are abusive, bullying, threatening, or harassing others;
  • contain spam, promotional material, or links to third-party websites.
  • refer to criminal or illegal activity;
  • are sexually explicit or pornographic;
  • include Personally Identifiable Information;
  • are fraudulent, or include information that is false, inaccurate, or misleading.
We also reserve the right to report, block or ban users who harass or act with malicious intent as outlined above. Any comments we deem a threat to the company or an individual will be passed onto the authorities for investigation as we feel necessary or are required by law.

Additional Considerations

The above Community Guidelines apply in addition to the ​Terms and Conditions​ and other legal notices that are provided by the owner of the social media platform.
